Come see where the work is made—where form and feeling meet, and each piece begins its quiet evolution. Explore new collage works and abstract paintings, and step behind the curtain into the rhythms of Nicole Deponte’s studio practice.
Nicole Deponte is a surrealist, collage artist, painter, and storyteller whose work emerges through an intuitive and experimental process. Her practice is shaped by a kind of visual synesthesia—a crossing of senses where color, shape, memory, and language blur. This heightened sensitivity informs how she sees and builds: through layering, mark-making, and a deep attention to rhythm and atmosphere.
Each work—whether cut and composed from paper or painted in pigment and gesture—is a record of process, perception, and transformation. Materials respond to touch. Color recalls sensation. Shapes form a kind of abstract narrative, echoing what is felt more than what is seen. The result is a visual poetics—tender, textural, and open to interpretation.
Join us for an intimate evening in the studio. Drinks will be served, new work will be on view, and the door will be open.
