From mid-June through July, we invite you to enjoy Holly Wach's incredible 10ft x 4ft original oil painting of the Smokey Mountains and a collection of vignettes that accompany it. Prints of the main piece and some smaller originals will be available for purchase.
For the Google Quantum AI project led by Draw Everywhere, Holly was one of 15 artists from around the world chosen to make a 10-foot painting celebrating Smoky's and Quantum communication. It took SO many sketches, brainstorming sessions with her collaborators, and weeks of prep and research. But after all that hard work, the idea just clicked, and it was like magic happening on the page.
"I had the most incredible time exploring this lush landscape and getting to know all the plants, animals, and birds that live here. I sketched, re-sketched, and just sat surrounded by all these images, completely immersed in capturing the essence of this complex, life-giving place."
Opening night will be extra special, as it's part of Gallery Night Providence. It's going to be an incredible evening filled with art, inspiration, and a chance to connect with fellow art lovers.
